In 1942, in an effort to explain the uses of hemp and encourage farmers to grow as much as possible, the federal government created the original Hemp for Victory campaign. With involvement from the USDA and Congress, the War Hemp Industries Corporation and the Commodity Credit Corporation was established and approximately 20,000 farmers were contracted to cultivate 30,000 acres in Midwestern states to produce 42,000 tons of fiber and 180 tons of seed annually throughout World War II.

With a strong belief that businesses exist to make the world a better place to live, today’s Hemp for Victory campaign has been established to facilitate the development of an agricultural hemp cooperative that will promote local ownership and empower farmers to purchase at a market economy level and benefit from capturing the upstream value of their raw products.

Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth & protection of the country.
